HOW TO STORE YOUR THINGS SAFELY
- Make sure all items are clean prior to storing to prevent damage. This includes clothing, furniture, dishes, and household goods.
- Cover furniture and mattresses with blankets, plastic or tarps to prevent moisture from absorbing into them.
- Do not store food items which could attract rodents or pests and consider using pest repellents such as decon, moth balls, etc.
- Storing clothing, blankets or other cloth items in plastic tubs can also be used as a preventative.
- Appliances should be thoroughly clean and dry. Keep refrigerator and freezer doors slightly open. Remove and discard vacuum cleaner bags.
- Check with your homeowners or rental insurance to see if your policy covers your belongings while in storage.
These are suggestions to help you take care of your things. We want your stay with us to be positive.
We do regularly maintain the buildings and grounds to help prevent problems inside the units.
